Environmental protection investments in Baden-Württemberg: an economic analysis of corporate investment activity

The project is based in particular on a newly created data basis. On the initiative of the IAW, the Baden-Württemberg State Statistical Office has linked the statistics on environmental protection investments with the industrial statistics for Baden-Württemberg. The resulting (panel) data set at individual company level is the first of its kind in Germany to date. It enables the processing of empirical questions in connection with environmental protection investments that could not previously be dealt with due to a lack of corresponding data.
