Banking Market Structure and Firms Financing in Financial Turmoil

The aim of the project is twofold. First, will be analyzed the efficiency of the banking systems, both in terms of local market structure and single banks, analyzing its relationship to the credit provision to firms and its performance implications. Secondly, will be analyzed  the board composition of many European banks and their potential effects on the provision of credit to local economies.
