Expertise concerning practical implications of the „Gesetz zur Neuausrichtung der arbeitsmarktpolitischen Instrumente“ (Act for realignment of labour market measures) with a focus on disadvantaged young and adolescent persons

The aim of the expertise was to find out what practical implications the Act for realignment of labour market measures brought along for young persons. The special focus of the study was the implementation of the new regulations by those actors who support disadvantaged young people in the process of job orientation and vocational training after school. Therefore several actors such as responsible persons from job employment agencies, the social welfare system and educational institutions were interviewed either in the form of standardized questionnaires, expert interviews or case studies. The expertise gives recommendations how certain regulations could be modified and improved in the field of the mentoring and assistance of disadvantaged young persons.
