Vocational language courses improve German language skills, but only strengthen labour market integration to a limited extent.

The current study on the evaluation of job-related German language support (in German) was carried out by the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IAW) at the University of Tübingen, the Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (f-bb), the Research Institute for the Future of Labor (IZA), Verian Germany (previously Kantar Public) and the Evaluation Office Caliendo und Partner on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS).
