Evaluation of the EU Community Initiative EQUAL-DP "SIG.NET- NETwork New Employment in the District of Sigmaringen"
Progressing in the second supportive year (2005-2007) of the joint initiative EQUAL, IAW belongs again to the DP-evaluators and accompanies the developmental partnership "SIG.NET-Network New Employment in the District of Sigmaringen".
SIG.NET wants to test new paths to increase the employment opportunities of disadvantaged persons as well as to increase their actual employment rate throughout the district. All institutions who participate at the regional labor market cooperate to achieve this aim. Five subprojects offer employment opportunities, education, and accompaniment, consult companies and give support in the setting up of new businesses. Successful strategies will be taken on by partners throughout the project and will be continued there after. The DP SIG.NET is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.
The IAW accompanies, supports, and evaluates the processes on the level of the development partnership. The evaluation is formative, that means it is determined to be process accompanying.
