Flexicurity Policies and Employment Services Aimed at Supporting Flexible and Disadvantaged Workers – Country case study for Germany

This case study is a part of the project “New tools to support the quality of work and life for temporary workers” aimed at supporting the ESF (European Social Fund) Office of the Autonomous Province of Trento. It has been commissioned by Istituto per la Ricerca Sociale (IRS), Milan.

The project deals with the EU flexicurity model, supporting the adoption of a social model matching flexibility and security in the labour market. The particular interest is in the role of the public employment service. In this context, the IAW provides an analysis of German policies and studies examples of good practices at the local level.
