Within the context of the targets program Social Code Book III in 2011 the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the Federal Employment Agency (BA) decided to launch a study to evaluate the current state of implementation of the gender equality aims. This study, in the field of the active labor market policy, is designed as an implementation study and includes the following four work packages:
- Specific analysis of implementation and governance.
- Formulation of a possible overall objective with the new agreement on objectives, in particular for a possible measurement of the achievement of the target with the help of relevant key performance indicators.
- Summarizing of results and overall reporting.
- Organization and implementation of workshops as well as arrangement and implementation of a closing workshop.
The purpose of the evaluation is to provide concrete and detailed information about the gender inequality in the realm of the active labor market policy within the German Social Code Book III (SGB III) and to serve a recommended course of action to optimize the implementation of the gender equality mandate of the German Social Code Book III (SGB III)
