Evaluation of a new consulting concept for the long-term unemployed under German Social Code II („Konzepttest Langzeitarbeitslosigkeit reduzieren“)
Since January 2016, the German Federal Employment Agency has conducted a model project in several job centers in order to test a new concept for counselling the long-term unemployed under German Social Code II. The aim of the new concept was to make counselling the long-term unemployed more efficient by applying a new profiling approach.
The aim of the evaluation conducted jointly by IAW and IAQ was to assess the practicability of the concept. To this end, a qualitative research design was adopted using qualitative interviews with actors on all levels of the public employment service.
