Career Opportunities at the IAW
For the IAW research focus “Labor Markets and Social Security” we are looking for a statistical research assistant (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.
Research Assistant (m/f/d) full-time or part-time (at least 50 %).
Your tasks:
- Participation in the design and analysis of standardized surveys, e.g. of employees and companies
- Preparation and analysis of complex individual data, e.g. data from the Federal Employment Agency
- Collaboration in the documentation of results and development of economic policy recommendations.
Your profile:
- Completed Master's degree in economics, education or social sciences
- Very good knowledge of statistical and econometric methods, ideally with additional knowledge of machine learning and experience in working with microdata
- Interest in labor market and social policy issues
- Enthusiasm for application-oriented economic research and scientific policy advice.
- Good to very good knowledge of German.
